This center offers state-of-the-art monitoring equipment, with an anesthesia staff that specializes in sophisticated regional anesthetic and sedative techniques that avoid ventilators and inhalation (gas) based general anesthesia. From full facial rejuvenation to elaborate breast surgery or circumferential abdominal contouring, local and regional anesthetic techniques allow patients to breathe on their own and experience nothing other than deep sleep for the entire operation, with rapid postoperative recovery free of nausea or anesthetic reactions in nearly all cases.

Hospital-based procedures requiring overnight stays are usually performed at Swedish Medical Center.
