Microneedling
Collagen can keep you looking youthful, but as you age, collagen production slows down. Microneedling performed by our experienced aestheticians can stimulate collagen production to rejuvenate your skin and refresh your appearance.
"The entire team made me feel comfortable, informed, and safe. They were honest, clear, and careful and I love the results."
What is Microneedling?
Collagen is a protein naturally produced by the body that gives skin a firm, supple appearance. Unfortunately, as you age, collagen production begins to decrease, adversely affecting the skin. Microneedling can stimulate the production of collagen, helping to improve the skin’s glow.
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) can also be done in conjunction with Microneedling to accelerate and enhance collagen and elastin production.
The SkinPen by Bellus Medical is the first FDA-cleared microneedling device. Microneedling creates micro-wounds in the top layer of the skin which in turn helps promote cell turnover and strengthen and produce collagen and elastin. Microneedling can treat many skin concerns, including:
- Uneven skin tone
- Acne marks and other scars
- Enlarged pores
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Dull skin
Microneedling is a short, in-office procedure with little to no discomfort. Our aestheticians will devise a plan to meet your aesthetic goals, get your skin glowing, and enhance your natural beauty.

Who is the Ideal Candidate?
Patients looking to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, treat dark marks, improve skin texture, and revive dull skin may be candidates for microneedling. Your aesthetician will examine your skin and create a customized plan to best treat your skin concerns. The ideal candidate will have realistic expectations for results.
What Can I Expect from Recovery?
Microneedling is a relatively short treatment done in our office. Before the procedure, we may apply a topical numbing agent for your comfort and allow it to sit for 30 minutes. After treatment, you may experience some redness and tightness which typically resolves quickly. We will apply a hydrogel to avoid excess dryness, allowing your skin to begin the healing process. We may also make recommendations for skin care after your treatment, and always suggest wearing SPF daily to protect the skin.
